60th Wedding anniversary in Reading, Berkshire
Okay so this post isn’t strictly about wedding photography, however, I think 60 years together has got to be something to celebrate.
When I got contacted to cover a 60th wedding anniversary that is exactly what I thought. 60 years is definitely something that needs to be celebrated and I was more than happy to help with taking a few shots of the evening.
The venue was set as Bill’s Restaurant & Bar in Reading, Berkshire. A great venue with function rooms and a contemporary/vintage style. Our function room was upstairs and I quickly got set up ready for the guests to arrive.
The evening was fun and relaxed with my photography replacing those selfie’s that everyone like to capture. The main guests arrived and the fun began. Going by the faces the whole evening was enjoyed by everyone, not just the guests of honour.
At the end of the evening I left them to continue their evening (either going home for a cuppa or making the most of the other local pubs and bars. For me though it was time to get the photos loaded onto my computer and backed up before the editing started in the morning.
